These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the FirmAssist platform, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by FirmAssist ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By accessing or using FirmAssist, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, are legally capable of entering into binding contracts, and agree to comply with these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a law firm or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain inaccurate information or violate these Terms.
FirmAssist offers three subscription tiers: Solo (GH₵349/month), Firm (GH₵649/month), and Enterprise (GH₵999/month). Features available to you depend on your selected plan.
Subscription fees are processed through Paystack in Ghana Cedis. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly or annual basis. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
We may offer a free trial period at our discretion. At the end of the trial, your account will require a paid subscription to continue using premium features.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Admin Panel. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle following the notice period.
You retain full ownership of all data you upload, create, or store on FirmAssist, including case files, client information, documents, and billing records ("Your Data"). We do not claim any ownership or intellectual property rights over Your Data.
By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process, store, and transmit Your Data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This licence terminates when you delete Your Data or close your account.

The FirmAssist platform, including its design, code, features, branding, logo, and documentation, is the intellectual property of FirmAssist and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the platform without our express written permission.
FirmAssist integrates with third-party services including Google Calendar, Twilio (WhatsApp), Paystack, and Anthropic (Claude AI). Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective terms and privacy policies of those providers. We are not liable for the availability, accuracy, or actions of third-party services.
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of scheduled downtime.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FirmAssist, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access to FirmAssist at any time if you breach these Terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or engage in conduct that is harmful to the platform or other users. Upon termination:
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. The parties agree to first attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction in Accra, Ghana.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of FirmAssist after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Data Protection Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and FirmAssist regarding the use of the Service.
